There was a great turnout at Shannon AC grounds on St Stephen's Day, Friday 26th December 2025, for our second GOAL Mile event.  Approximately 100 people turned up to run, jog or walk two laps of our perimeter path (totalling 1 mile approx), before congregating near our portacabins to enjoy hot chocolate, mulled wine (non-alcoholic!) and chocolates.  Many thanks to those who helped out on the day and to all those who turned out to support the event. A total of €650 cash was donated on the day with another €260 online via iDonate and a further €780 via pre-registrations - €1,690 in total which is slightly more than last year.  Well done everyone and Happy New Year to all our volunteers, members and supporters.
